Camp Emmanuel is the product of prayers and vision of many people in the Liberty Christian Fellowship Community who had a desire to reach and serve the children and families of the Outer Banks. Due to the local and national environment, Camp Emmanuel believes that ministering to the whole family is critical. The main objective of this facility is to create a space that allows visitors to unplug from the demands of daily life and find rest and healing by experiencing the heart of Father through fellowship, praise, prayer, and the Word.
Camp Emmanuel is available to outside churches and organizations whose programming is focused on teaching and applying the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Camp Emmanuel facilities have served as host for church youth camps of all ages; specialty camps like surf camp and arts and worship camp; and various retreats for church youth groups and adult leadership and visioning retreats.
Two of the ten cabins were designed to accommodate campers with mobility disabilities. In accordance with it's Christian focus, Camp Emmanuel may offer a low-cost opportunity for campers who are considered socially disadvantaged to enjoy the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina.
