What happens at Kingdom Kids?

Kingdom Kids Church is more than childcare—it’s a fun, safe, and Christ-centered place where kids can grow in their faith. Through engaging activities, age-appropriate worship, teaching, and prayer, children are encouraged to believe big, pray boldly, and build a strong foundation in Jesus. Kids are grouped by age each week so they can learn, grow, and build friendships with their peers while parents enjoy worship and the Word in the sanctuary.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Once you have checked in, your child(ren) will head to their classroom, where they will be welcomed into a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment. During the service, children will have opportunities to interact and play with their peers, participate in worship, and watch a Bible story designed to help them grow in their understanding of faith. They will also pray together, enjoy a snack, and take part in a hands-on activity/games such as a craft, coloring sheet, making their time both meaningful and fun!

  • When you arrive at Liberty, head to the fellowship hall, where our Kingdom Kids Check-in is located. 

    • First time visitors: feel free to click here and complete the Get Connected form beforehand This form allows us to make sure we have contact information, names, birthdates to help your kids get to the correct classroom, and any special instructions (allergies, special accommodations) for your child.
    • For returning families:  Parents/Guardians can check in their kids on our computer check-in system.  After selecting each kid you are checking in, the printer will provide you with matching parent/child tags—please keep your tag. If you’re needed during the service, a team leader will text you.  After service, return to the Kingdom Kids entrance and present your tag to pick up your child(ren).

  • Check-in opens at 9:50 AM and closes at 10:20 AM

    • Families traveling long distances may receive a 10-minute grace period, extending check-in until 10:30 AM

  • After service, return to the Kingdom Kids entrance and present your tag to pick up your child(ren).


    For the safety of every child, dismissal is limited to:

    • A parent/guardian or approved adult

    • A sibling 16 years of age or older

    • The matching tag must be presented to pick up your child(ren)

  • If you are needed during the service, a Kingdom Kids ministry team leader will text the phone number provided at check-in.

  • Your child’s safety is our top priority. All Kingdom Kid team members are background checked before serving and go through on-board training.  Along with that, our kid classrooms are kept secure at all times, monitored by cameras by our security team and security team leaders are present during every service.

  • We ask that parents/guardians of all regularly attending kids complete the KINGDOM KIDS INTAKE FORM.   This form allows us to get to know your child(ren) so we can best serve them and provide your child with a worship experience that meets their individual needs in a safe, loving environment.


    Children should not attend if they have had:

    • A fever of 99° or higher within the past 24 hours

    • Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours

    Our classrooms are nut free and snacks for children with gluten allergies are available upon request.  

    • If visiting, please share any allergies/your child is medically fragile or has a history of seizures, please notify the Children’s Pastor prior to attending so that a medical protocol can be discussed.

Get Connected before Your Visit 

  • Ages 6 weeks - 2 Years Old

    Our Baby Bay Nursery team loves on our littlest friends in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. With age-appropriate toys and activities, your child will be well cared for while you enjoy worship with peace of mind and fully engage in what God has for you.

  • Ages 3-4 Years Old

    Our Kids Kove Preschool classes are designed to be a fun and intentional time of teaching, worship, and hands-on activities. Children learn the foundations of following Jesus and discovering just how much He loves them. When weather allows, they’ll also enjoy playtime indoors and outdoors in our safe, fenced play yard.

  • Ages 5-7 years old

    Our Discovery Island Classroom is designed for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, with activities, toys, and worksheets intentionally created to ensure lessons are taught in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Tac the Cat, our lesson puppet, often joins in to help bring Bible lessons to life. Weather permitting, children will also enjoy outdoor playtime in our safe, fenced play yard.


  • Ages 8-11 Years Old

    The Gulf Stream Classroom is designed for 3rd–5th grade students. Each week, students join the Liberty family for worship with their class, then spend intentional time in the Word—reading from their Bibles and engaging in meaningful classroom discussions. Through fun games and interactive activities that reinforce the lesson, students have an absolute blast while discovering they are loved, seen, and known by a God who desires a daily relationship with them.

    The Sound Haven Sensory Room exists to share the love of Christ by supporting children who need special accommodations and helping their families fully participate in the life of the church.  Our goal is to help children become as independent as possible in their classrooms.  Depending on each child’s individual plan, team availability, and classroom dynamics, children may be fully integrated into their classroom, partially integrated, or supported within the Sound Haven Sensory Room.
